No. 1 Stunnas!

30 06 2009

Abe's Army Practice 5KI would like to begin the post with congratulating everyone on a VERY impressive run last night. You guys and gals did a fantastic job in the practice 5K! Everyone either finished under or around the 30 minute mark, which means you were running between 9 to 10 minute miles! I hope you all went home last night feeling very accomplished. Great job!

Make sure to take a look at the great runners from last night.

What’s in a name?

16 06 2009

magnificatorIt’s time for a group name. If any of you master minds can come up with a creative name for our group, please post your ideas. We have recently been referred to as group 6, 4, and orange. Although these names are quite nice, they surely do not support any jazzy sounds. So think, think, think! :-)

WOW! We’re hot like FIRE!!!

16 06 2009

What a great run last night ladies and gents! As your group leaders, we were very impressed with your continuous efforts last night during the extended run. Although we scheduled to run 3 miles, you were all able to push yourselves to the next level and stayed together as a group, even if you didn’t have your normal energy ( hope the birthday girl is feeling better with her bronchitis :-) ). We were very proud of your push at the end of the route, especially with the HILL!!!! Please let us know if we need to make any changes to our runs. It is you who needs to benefit from the training, not us. We are welcome to suggestions.

Please refer to the training log below for the rest of your running schedule for this week.
